Scarves are one of the most flexible accessories. They can be worn around your neck, over your head, and in other ways. Let’s take a quick dive into the different ways to tie a scarf.
Half Infinity
Wrap the scarf as if you’re creating a full circle. Once you put it over your head, allow the ends to fall open.

Peeking
You can leave your scarf peaking from under your coat or jacket. You’d tie it the same way that you would an infinity or half. Button or zip your coat right up to the start of your scarf.

Over Your Ears.
This is one of my favorite ways to wear a scarf because it actually keeps your ears warm. You can use a lightweight or heavyweight scarf. Be careful with heavy-weight scarves when wearing them this way because they may snag and pull on your hair and can also dry out your hair, since the fabric may absorb moisture. I recommend a more lightweight material that leans toward silk or polyester.

Turban Style
I had one of these phases with scarves circa 2014 but it was really cool. You can wear a printed scarf (African prints are my favorite) over your head by tying it like a turban, which will cover your entire head, including your hair.

Neck Tie
Easily wear a collar shirt with a scarf that you twist as a neck tie. You can pull the scarf under the collar and tie it in a bow or knot.

Scarves are easy to manipulate and you can interchange them and use them as a necktie or turban. Remember to pay attention to the material when you choose which style you want to try.
